- What you'll doThe Mental Health, Addiction and Suicide Prevention Group supports the Ministry's role as chief advisor to the Minister for Mental Health, providing leadership both across the health sector and government on mental health, addiction, and suicide prevention matters.

- What you'll bringExperience in programme management, leadership and delivery across government, preferably in the Health Sector, including the development, planning, and implementation of strategies and action plansKnowledge of suicide prevention and the suicide prevention sector in New Zealand Aotearoa, with previous relevant experience an advantageExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with significant experience in providing advice to senior leaders and Ministers, engagement and relationship management, and the proven ability to build strong networks, and work closely with others to achieve cross-government outcomesPolitical acumen and an understanding of the machinery of government, with previous government and cross-agency working experience.Ko mātou me tō matou whare
