About the role:

We’re looking for a hands-on, compassionate individual who’s not afraid to get stuck in. You’ll be responsible for cleaning and maintaining enclosures, feeding, exercising, and caring for dogs of all sizes. This is a rewarding role where your love for animals truly makes a difference.

Mandatory Requirements:
To progress through the recruitment process, you must consent to and be able to satisfy pre-employment checks, including:
  • Driver’s Licence, Credit Checks, and Ministry of Justice Criminal History Check
  • Currently residing in the Whangarei region & legally entitled to work in New Zealand
  • Comfortable and confident with handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
  • A current Certificate of Approval (COA) or willingness to obtain one
  • Full, clean NZ driver’s licence
  • Display honesty, reliability, and strong integrity
  • Good physical fitness and stamina
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Cultural awareness and respect for diversity
