Store Manager – Superette (Full-Time, Permanent)
Location: WhangareiHours: Minimum 40 hours per week, rostered shifts
Pay: $25 – $30 per hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a highly responsible, self-motivated individual with strong leadership and operational management skills to oversee day-to-day functions across our superette stores. This position requires excellent organisational ability, commitment to high standards, and flexibility to manage varying tasks and shifts.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and coordinate all store operations, ensuring daily targets and performance benchmarks are consistently achieved.
- Train, supervise, and roster staff to maintain efficiency and compliance at all times.
- Accurately monitor stock levels, manage supplier relationships, and maintain tight control over ordering and wastage.
- Ensure full adherence to all food safety, health, and operational regulations.
- Resolve customer issues promptly while maintaining professional conduct.
- Perform hands-on tasks during peak hours and assist in operational duties when required.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports as directed by management.
- Graduates or High school education would be welcome.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a retail, convenience, or supervisory position.
- Proven ability to manage a team and meet performance goals under minimal supervision.
- Exceptional time management, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, late evenings, and public holidays as rostered.
- Ability to handle high responsibility and multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
