About the role
As aStoreperson / Loader Operator, you’ll play a key role in thesafe and efficient loading, unloading, and storage of product atthe site. You’ll work with loaders, screeners, and other siteequipment while maintaining high standards for health and safety,feed and food quality, and site cleanliness.
Thishands-on operational role is ideal for someone with experience inmachinery operation and bulk product handling, a strong attentionto detail, and a willingness to follow set procedures andcontribute to team success.
This roleincludes participation in a rotational shift schedule, which mayinvolve day, night and weekend shifts. Applicants must be willingand able to work nights on a rotating basis as well as othershifts, in line with the team’s operationalrequirements.Duties
- Operate front-endloaders, screeners, sweepers, forklifts in a safe and efficientmanner
- Loadand unload vehicles in line with order requirements and siteprocedures
- Complete allrelevant documentation accurately, including MPI and siterecords
- Maintain store andyard cleanliness and assist with stock rotation andhygiene
- Carry out pre-startchecks, and maintain loaders and equipment according toschedule
- Adhere to all site,MPI, and health & safety procedures
- Support a culture ofzero harm and strong feed/food safety awareness
- Workcollaboratively within the team and communicate effectivelywith supervisors
- Experience operatingloaders and other site machinery
- Familiarity withstock receipting, dispatch, and storage practices
- Comfortable usingtablets or computers for record keeping and basicadmin
- Experience with MPIprocesses is desirable
- Team-oriented with astrong focus on safety and following procedures
- Current Fulldriver’s licence with W endorsement required
