Dispatch Operator
The Role
We have an afternoon Freight Sorter / Dispatch Operator role based at our client’s busy warehouse in Kelvin Grove. This is a long-term opportunity within a well-established company, ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of physical work and thinking on their feet.
You’ll be part of a fast-paced dispatch team, sorting freight, preparing orders, and keeping operations running smoothly. This role suits someone who is both hands-on and detail-focused - someone who can lift, think, and move efficiently in a high-performing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing- Sort and scan freight accurately for dispatch
- Load and unload goods, including manual handling and forklift work
- Organise outbound shipments and ensure correct labelling and documentation
- Assist with general warehouse duties and keep dispatch running smoothly
- Work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and daily targets
- Monday to Friday
- 2:00pm – 10:30pm
- Immediate start available
- Starting rate of $26 per hour

- Full Class 1 licence
- Forklift licence preferred
- Physically fit – able to lift and move freight consistently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with systems/scanners
