Dispatch Coordinator (Trucking background)

We’re looking for an experienced Dispatch Coordinator from a trucking environment — someone who understands how a transport operation works, and the impact of getting the wrong truck to the wrong job.

A Class 5 licence is highly valued, but success in this role comes down to your ability to plan, prioritise, and manage the moving parts of a busy transport operation.

• Planning and coordinating daily and weekly transport jobs
• Dispatching work efficiently — matching the right trucks to the right jobs
• Acting as the main point of contact for drivers and operations
• Managing supplier enquiries, quotes, and logistics coordination
• Supporting weighbridge operations and transaction processing
• Maintaining accurate dispatch records and system updates
• Supporting site H&S and compliance requirements

• Proven experience in dispatch, transport coordination, or logistics planning
• Background in trucking or heavy transport (essential)
• Strong understanding of fleet capability and job allocation decisions
• Confident using systems and admin processes
• Able to communicate clearly with drivers and make decisions under pressure
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
