- Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the roleOur Emergency Department is an exceptionally busy service and provides care for thousands of attendees every year.We have:a triage areaa rapid assessment areadedicated resuscitation areasacute, sub-acute and paediatric cubicles.Our department carries out all acute care, including full patient resuscitation facilities, management of trauma, fractures, injuries etc.
The ED's vision is to be a centre of clinical care and customer service excellence.
