Make a difference in an older person's daily life working as a Health Care Assistant!
Prior experience or a minimum Level 3 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent, along with medication competency, & preferably a current First Aid certificate would be an advantage.
The Role
You'll put your practical skills and compassion into supporting residents with everyday activities such as personal care, assistance at mealtimes, and general care duties that make for happier, healthier living at an Enliven home. You will work hard, but there are few jobs that will give you the immense satisfaction of working for people who are grateful for your help and who contribute to an enriching working environment.
This role includes some cleaning & laundry responsibilities as well.
Hours: This is a permanent part-time position working the Night shift from 11.00 pm to 7.00 am, rostered 4 days on and 4 days off.
About You
The ideal applicant will:
- Hold a minimum Level 3 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent, along with medication competency, & preferably a current First Aid certificate would be an advantage
- Experience in an aged care environment is preferred
- Be empathetic, compassionate, and patient
- Work well in a team
- Enjoy working alongside older people
- Be physically fit and strong
- Have enthusiasm and a sense of humour
