About the Role:We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our Animal Management team based in Whangarei.
This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone with previous administrative experience who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You’ll play a vital part in supporting our Animal Management operations by providing a high standard of administrative support.
Key Responsibilities include:- Answering customer queries via email and phone
- Reception duties and general administrative tasks
- Dispatching jobs to Animal Officers and managing workflows
- Data entry and maintaining accurate customer records
- Liaising with stakeholders, business partners, and other organisations
- Supporting the Animal Management Manager in day-to-day operations
To progress through the recruitment process, you must consent to and be able to satisfy pre-employment checks, including:
- Full NZ Driver Licence
- Credit Check, Ministry of Justice Criminal History Check, and Immigration checks
- Two referees (ideally from your most recent two employers)
- Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
- Previous experience in administration or a similar role
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience advantageous
- Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Calm, professional, and confident when dealing with conflict situations
- Strong judgement and decision-making skills
- Resilient, reliable, and solution-focused with a positive attitude
