Microvellum Designer – Fixed-Term Contract - Christchurch

Christchurch-based, but remote work is possible with some on-site time required (all expenses paid)

We’re launching a new bathroom vanity manufacturing facility and are seeking an experienced Microvellum Designer & Detailer to help establish our product library of bathroom vanity units. This is a fixed-term, 2-month contract with excellent pay and a performance-based bonus upon successful completion of the project.

**About the Role**

As our Microvellum expert, you’ll play a key role in developing a structured, scalable library of bathroom vanity units, ensuring seamless integration with our manufacturing processes. Unlike traditional cabinet design roles, this project focuses on standardized vanity designs, requiring efficiency, precision, and a keen eye for detail.

• Build a comprehensive Microvellum library for our bathroom vanity range.
• Ensure seamless design-to-production workflows for efficient manufacturing.
• Optimize designs for material efficiency and production scalability.
• Work remotely with some required time at our Christchurch base (all expenses covered) if your home base is not Christchurch.
• Deliver high-quality, fully detailed product files within the 2-month timeframe.

• Expert-level proficiency in Microvellum software (experience in cabinetry/millwork preferred).
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to structure a well-organized, scalable product library.
• Proven experience in design detailing and optimization.
• Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and capable of independent work.
