Our busy café Robert Harris is looking for passionate person who likes to cook and bake . In order to be suitable for this position you must be organized, clean and able to remain composed under pressure. You also must be able to provide quality food for both our short order menu items and our cabinet food products.
*) Prepare, cook and present food according to daily orders and the restaurant’s standards.
*) Order food supplies, track food costs and manage stock levels.
*) Plan menus and design and price new dishes.
*) Extensive cooking experience to be competent in both cabinet food and menu service. We will train you up if you don’t have enough experience.
*) Be able to work in a busy kitchen under pressure.
*) Have a sound understanding of kitchen hygiene standards and will need to ensure a high standard of hygiene is managed and maintained among all kitchen staff.
*) A positive track record of kitchen , and knowledge of Food safety and Hygiene standards.
It is a fulltime permeant role , weekly hours will be 32hr Plus
Must comply with workplace health & safety rules/regulations.
Responsibilities and Duties:

This position working hour will be between 6am -230pm .
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
*) A relevant qualification or relevant work experience; Training will be provided.*) A positive track record of kitchen , and knowledge of Food safety and Hygiene standards.
*) Must Be able to work at weekends
This role will be rostered shifts base, daily shift hour will be vary from 6AM to 230PMIt is a fulltime permeant role , weekly hours will be 32hr Plus
Pay Rate is $24 - $27 depending on experience.
We are looking for long term employment relationship, this role is not suitable for Summer school holiday or Holiday Visa short term employment. Applicants must have right to work in NZ . ( we are not Accredited Employer , please do not apply if you are AEWV visa holder) .
