Join Our Team!NZ Live Fish Market Ltd is a leading supplier of live seafood to local and export markets. We're hiring an Operations Manager in Whenuapai to lead factory operations, manage staff, and ensure quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Managing and coordinating daily factory operations and staff
Overseeing goods reception, storage, and dispatchEnsuring all production, packing, and export timelines are met
Maintaining machinery, vehicles, and overall site functionality
Enforcing compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
Monitoring water and product quality to maintain our high standards
Supporting and training team members to ensure strong operational performance
Providing clear weekly reports and managing budgets
Working closely with sales and admin teams to meet business needs
Promoting a high-performing, motivated team culture
Participating in industry training, events, and field trips
Filling operational gaps to ensure smooth workflow when required
Be hands on to assist the team with daily tasks.
What We’re Looking For: Proven 5+ experience in an operational leadership role within a factory or production environment
Strong people management and communication skillsComputer literate, with a good understanding of logistics, machinery, and seafood
Naturally curious and solutions-focused mindset
Able to legally work in New Zealand without restrictions.
Clean NZ Drivers License.
Experience in forklift operations.
Hours: 45 Hours per week from Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional weekend work as needed.
