Cook – Sesang Trading Ltd (Auckland, North Shore)

Sesang Trading Ltd is a leading food processing company based in Auckland, supplying quality meat and poultry products to more than 400 business clients across New Zealand. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at our North Shore site.

This is a full-time, permanent role, with a guaranteed minimum of 32 hours per week and up to 45 hours per week, depending on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, process, season, and cook meat and poultry products in accordance with company standards and client specifications.

Operate and maintain kitchen tools, machinery, and processing equipment safely.

Ensure food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards are met at all times (HACCP compliance).

Monitor stock levels, rotate supplies, and assist with ordering raw materials.

Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production and delivery targets.

Minimise food waste and support cost control measures.

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a Cook (experience in meat and poultry processing is preferred); OR a relevant culinary qualification.

Strong knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Team player with good communication skills.

Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
