Some flexibility working from home, in office 4 days per week Wellington based role only Fixed term for approximately 12 months depending on start date Integrated Care Programme ManagerOranga Tamariki is looking for an experienced programme manager for the newly established Integrated Care Programme.

This programme is led by the two Tamariki and Whānau Services National Commissioners to meet immediate care needs and deliver on the Crown's Response to the Royal Commission of Abuse in Care.The integrated programme is focussed on increasing care capacity and safety, embedding Oranga framed care and enabling caregiver and care workforce capability.Concurrently, Oranga Tamariki has an obligation to deliver on specific initiatives that achieved external Budget 25 funding as part of the Crown Response to the Royal Commission of Abuse in Care over the next four years.The Programme has multiple workstreams and will be a significant part of the cross-organisational delivery to accelerate improvements in our care system.

The programme will operate at two horizons: alleviating immediate pressures; longer term enhancements to care provision; Skills: A quick starter, skilled at picking up in-flight activity and understanding where to focus initial efforts. Brings strong Programme Management disciplines (finances, estimating/forecasting, risks/issue management, high-quality documentation, strong critical path planning, good dependency management) Brings programme and project agile delivery methodologies, focused on delivering value iteratively and incrementally rather than a more waterfall approach.

Delivery-focused and team-minded — keeps the programme moving, the team engaged, and the outcomes front and centre. Experience: Prior experience in the Youth/Justice sector, or with Oranga Tamariki preferred. Extensive experience at a senior level in a variety of critical programmes, with a proven record of delivering complex large organisational change programmes in a fast-moving environment.
Has experience mentoring and coordinating the work of a programme team in all aspects of programme management and business change. Has experience establishing a programme, including effective programme governance. Previous experience delivering within in a large/complex organisation, including managing dependencies and integration with other work programmes.
