Senior Financial Administrator

Transport Rangiora is a medium size Transport & Logistics Company based in Rangiora servicing a range of clients, from Logging, Bulk Cartage and Freight. We are a progressive company with a great team of friendly drivers and a strong Health and Safety ethic.

This role provides all administration support across the business both Financial and to the Operations team, managing data and all key administration tasks. This is a role which allows plenty of variety, you will be part of a busy team, valued for your input but also need to be comfortable taking responsibility for your own outcomes.

This role would suit someone who has had Health & Safety Administrative experience who would like to be involved in Policy/Procedure development.

Your role will involve:

Manage all financial transactions and bookkeeping activities.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Monitor cost centre budgets and expenses, providing regular updates to the Managing Director.
Manage financial documentation, and invoices in an organized record-keeping system.
Payroll and HR
Credit Control
General administration
Managing Computer applications
Health and Safety Administration

Ideal Skills and Experience

5+ years’ experience in a finance administration or accounts administration role
Strong written and verbal communication
Experience processing GST and PAYE
Experience using Xero is essential
Experience with Payroll/HR is essential (Ipayroll)
Health & Safety desirable (BEWARE)
Team player
Proficient in MS Office products
Experience in preparing financial accounts
Comfortable working autonomously

Mytrucking / EROAD training is available.
