Restaurant Manager - McDonald's Frankton

About the Role

You will lead from the front, ensuring high standards across all dayparts in a busy, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) standards everyday
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and security procedures
• Maintain smooth daily operations across all shifts and applying corrective actions

• Drive sales, profitability, and cost control
• Contribute to annual and quarterly business planning, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Oversee budgeting processes, track financial performance, and respond proactively to emerging trends.
• Manage labour, food costs, and key performance indicators

• Lead, coach, and inspire a large, diverse team
• Build future leaders through strong recruitment, training, and development
• Ensure the restaurant is appropriately staffed with well trained, motivated people
• Maintain compliance with New Zealand employment legislation and ensure performance management.
• Build capability across Department and Shift Managers

Requirements - Applicants must meet all of the following:

• McDonald’s LGR qualification (essential – non-negotiable)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a McDonald’s Restaurant Manager or senior leadership role
• Proven experience in a high-volume McDonald’s environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours across a 24/7 operation
• Must provide contactable referees
• Must have legal right to work in New Zealand

• Competitive hourly rate: $30 – $32 per hour
