We are currently looking for Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee our venue in Hamilton.
About the Positions:
Both the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager will share the same duties and responsibilities and support each other to maintain smooth operations. These roles will be assigned based on experience, interest, and career plans.

In addition to keeping the restaurant thriving and driving growth, you’ll need to be a champion for the Mexico culture and customer experience. You'll excel in managing all aspects of avenue and be adept at finance, maintaining costs, administration, customer experience, and most importantly, people!

You will also possess excellent communication skills, outstanding hygiene standards and an ability to work in a team! For this positions, you’ll need to be flexible to work over seven days, and must be available to work nights, Split shifts and weekends.

Please note working on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening is a compulsory. Roster is not flexible and will be done according to the business requirement.

You’ll play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our customers. We are looking for individuals who are not only enthusiastic about delivering top-notch service but also flexible.

The tasks at hand include (but are not limited to) :
  • Planning menus in consultation with Chefs
  • Planning and organising special functions
  • Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to a set budget
  • Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
  • Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
  • Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
  • Recruiting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
  • May take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
Ideally, you'll have more than 2 years’ full time work experience in a Restaurant and should have General Manager Certificate. We are looking for the right attitude, a genuine passion for customer service, and the ability to inspire others. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump in and help your team when required.

A genuine knowledge of Mexican food and culture will be an added bonus for this role.

You must have:
  • A General Manager’s certificate and current LCQ
  • Food Safety certificate is a good to have
  • Education in hospitality
