Operations Manager
City Certifying Consultants (“CCCL”) is an overflow resource supplying BCA’s and TA's throughout New Zealand, with a heavy focus supporting the Auckland Region.
CCCL is part of a wider building compliance group that specialise’s in processing Building Consents, Building Inspections and supporting Building Officials with Technical Auditing and Quality Assurance Management. We have an exciting period ahead with high demand from clients following significant regulatory changes occurring across our industry.
CCCL are looking to employ an Operations Manager capable of managing our high performing Auckland team with their support of BCA’s across the wider Auckland and North Island regions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the Building Control and Compliance functions with a track record of growing and managing high performing teams that operate in a regulatory environment.
You will possess the following attributes:- Strong communication.
- Well organised and proactively minded.
- Well networked across the TA/BCA and regulatory sector.
- Have a strong focus on customer service.
- Well versed in the current New Zealand Building Code, Building Act and BCA functions.
- Well-connected and respected across the building and construction industry.
- Experienced with regulatory requirements of processing and inspecting residential or commercial projects for compliance with NZ Building Code requirements.
- Proficient in electronic systems and focus on continuous system improvement.
- A high level of engagement and collaborative working relationship with MBIE and IANZ is required.
- A strong people manager understanding the responsibility for both the individual and teams overall performance.
The role will likely incorporate a variety of functions including Management and technical functions.
You will be surrounded by an experienced team of professionals working collaboratively as the preferred overflow resource supplier to all BCA’s and TA’s throughout New Zealand. The team has a shared goal of providing great service to our customers with transparent response times.
