Health & Clinical Support Workers
About the RoleKey ResponsibilitiesClinical & Non-Clinical SupportProvide support across all Outpatient clinics, including medical, surgical, paediatric and orthopaedic services.Assist with preparing clinic rooms, restocking consumables, ensuring equipment is clean, available and in working order.Respect and maintain patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.Respond courteously and promptly to patient enquiries and direct them to appropriate staff when required.Assist orderlies and other staff with patient movement to diagnostic procedures.Carry out tasks professionally while working under clinical supervision.Department Support & HousekeepingMaintain tidy, well-organised storerooms, clinic spaces, and sluice rooms.Replace linen and rubbish bags as required to support timely clinic turnover.Ensure clean linen supply is maintained throughout the day.Refill consumables and ensure items are stored correctly and safely.Redeployment to other areas may be required to support service needs.Administrative & Ward Clerk SupportLearn and support basic ward clerk duties as required.Assist with booking enquiries, patient flow, and general clerical tasks.Use computer systems and software such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
