About the Position and You:
We are seeking a registered nurse to lead the nursing team at The Doctors Whangaparaoa, focusing on clinical excellence and innovative approaches in primary care. If you are ready to step up into a leadership role, or already an experienced nurse manager this is the role for you.Mentoring and support will be available for the right candidate.
This is a permanent full time position working 33 hours across 4 days from Monday to Friday.- Lead a diverse nursing team (Registered Nurses, Practice Care Assistants) for safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care.
- Manage recruitment, daily operations, collaborate with centre leadership, and develop care models for improved health outcomes and medical centre efficiency.
- Balance administrative duties with clinical responsibilities within the role.
Key attributes include:
- A current New Zealand practicing certificate and current CPR certificate
- Leadership and management aspirations
- Primary care experience is fundamental to this role
- Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
- Clinical experience and passion for, primary care and primary care nursing
- Proven quality improvement experience
- Postgraduate qualification is highly desirable
- Great communication skills at all levels
- Advanced computer skills
