General Manager
As General Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a vibrant entertainment venue that combines bowling, a full-service bar, food offerings, and regular events. You’ll be responsible for leading the team, driving business performance, and ensuring guests have an unforgettable experience every time.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse front-of-house and bar team
Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, stock control, and health & safety compliance
Maintain a high standard of customer service and venue presentation
Manage bookings, private functions, and corporate events from enquiry to execution
Monitor budgets, sales targets, and performance metrics
Handle recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff
Work closely with ownership on business strategy and improvements
Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven management experience in hospitality, entertainment, or events
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities
- Confident in handling fast-paced environments and peak trading periods
- LCQ and Manager’s Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Marketing and IT experience would be advantageous
- Tech-savvy, with experience using POS and booking systems
- A can-do attitude and willingness to lead by example
