Noodle Canteen Courtenay Place is looking for one full-time Chinese Cook to join their team.
Ideal candidate must have the followings:
- At least 2 years relevant work experience or a level 2 or above relevant qualification.
- Must be flexible for work, able to work over the weekends and must cover our required shifts.
- Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Working hard, healthy, sound time management and punctuality.
- Long-term and full commitments are required.
- Complying with health and safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the quality of cooked foods during preparation and presentation.
- Preparing and cooking and seasoning food.
- Regulating temperatures of the cooking equipment.
- Portion food, placing on plates or takeaway boxes and adding gravies and sauces.
- Responsible for storing food in temperature controlled facilities.
- Prepare dietary food to meet the customer’s special needs.
- Planning and adjusting menus accordingly if needed.
- Keeping kitchen tidy and clean and meeting cleaning and safety standards.
- Supervising, monitoring and training kitchen staff to maintain the highest standard service at all times.
- Assisting owner in checking food stocks and placing order from food suppliers.
- Mastering a full knowledge of the menu and advising cooking procedures.
