The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Electrical Project Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong leadership skills, and possesses a deep understanding of commercial electrical systems.

As a Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of electrical projects—from planning and budgeting through to execution and completion. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and our internal team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

~ Manage multiple commercial electrical projects across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty

~ Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth project execution

~ Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the project lifecycle, including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning

~ Ensure projects are completed to industry and safety standards

~ Monitor budgets, timelines, and resource allocation

~ Prepare project documentation including reports, quotes, and compliance records

~ Lead and support project teams and onsite staff

About You

~ Proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial electrical sector

~ NZ Registered Electrician

~ Solid knowledge of New Zealand electrical codes and standards

~ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

~ Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

~ Proficient in Excel and project management software

~ Current NZ driver’s license

~ Electrical for mechanical Experience would be adventurous

~ Experience in pricing projects and Variations
