CHEF DE PARTIE – Full Time

Highwater Eatery is on the lookout for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our award-winning kitchen on Cuba Street.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef to join a high-performing team, working with outstanding local produce in a supportive and inspiring kitchen.

• Run your own section (e.g. pans or larder) with consistency and care
• Support the Head Chef and senior team in daily kitchen operations
• Maintain prep, cleanliness, and organisation of your section
• Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver an exceptional dining experience

• At least 1–2 years’ experience in a quality kitchen environment
• Skills in modern cookery and a desire to learn and grow
• A calm, reliable presence during service
• Great communication and a positive, team-focused attitude
• A Passion for working with quality ingredients
• Culinary qualifications (e.g. NZQA Level 4) or equivalent experience

• $26–$29 per hour (based on experience) plus tips
