You will play a critical role in ensuring leaders are supported to deliver strategic priorities effectively, while managing sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. This is not your standard EA role as you will be supporting the director of Funding Hospitals as well as their leadership team.This is a busy and varied role where no two days are the same.
You will manage complex calendars, travel arrangements, meetings, reports, Machinery of government requests (OIAs, briefings, etc), financial administration and stakeholder communications, while also supporting wider team coordination and operational processes.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will build strong relationships across the organisation and help create smooth, efficient ways of working for senior leaders and their teams.About the Team and LocationYou will be part of a national team within Funding Hospitals, supporting leaders who work collaboratively to improve health outcomes for communities across New Zealand.

You will bring:Previous experience in an Executive Assistant or senior business support role supporting senior leadersExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalismExperience managing confidential and sensitive information with discretionStrong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teamsExperience with administration processes including travel coordination, invoicing and expense managementProficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and ExcelExperience with Machinery of GovernmentA proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detailWorking at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
