Fulton Hogan is on the lookout for a hands-on, can-do legend to join our paving crew as an **Asphalt** **Machine Operator**.Whether you're a seasoned pro or just keen to learn, we'll get you behind the controls of rollers, pavers, and excavators-helping shape the roads and car parks that keep Southland moving.

**In a****ddition to the above you will:**- Operate paving machinery, including asphalt pavers, rollers, excavators and other related equipment.
- Attend and take part in pre-start meetings, understanding hazards and Health and Safety Risks.
- Conduct general labourer duties when required to ensure timely completion per project timeframes.
- Work closely with other construction team members, including labourers, forepersons, and site supervisors.
We welcome applicants with relevant experience but will also fully train suitable candidates regardless of their background.

**We're** **looking for someone with:**- Full Class 1 License - WTR Endorsements and Class 2 an advantage but not essential
- Mechanical aptitude and methodical approach to work
- An ownership towards the maintenance and care of machinery
- Customer focus and good communication skills
- Punctual timekeeping
- Willing to Learn
- Experience in the industry is preferred but not essential.
