Machine Operator / Cropping Specialist - Invercargill

Assist with some stock work when required.

• Operate and maintain latest technology agricultural machinery, including tractors, cultivation equipment, drills, baler, etc.
• Implement crop cultivation and planting strategies.
• Assist with coordination and carry out hay, balage and silage making.
• Maintain records of crop production, machinery maintenance, and field activities.
• Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations and safety standards.
• Have sound stock skills and assist with stock work when required.

• Strong communication skills and a motivated, positive attitude.
• Must present in a manner that reflects well on oneself and our business.
• Experience in operating and maintaining agricultural machinery.
• Knowledge of crop management, soil health, and pest control techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues and perform basic repairs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and ability to work varied hours when necessary.
• Be able to work in a team environment taking everyone’s needs into consideration.
• Must be able to work independently where necessary.
• Clean NZ Drivers licence
• Demonstrate a great work safety history, with an understanding of H&S regulations

Athol is situated 50 minutes south of Queenstown airport and less than 20 minutes north of Lumsden with many stunning locations on our doorstep including Fiordland and Southern Lakes, Queenstown and Wanaka.
