Due to a growing workload, we are expanding our team and are currently seeking a skilled Drainage Machine Operator to join our Southland Branch based in Invercargill.
About the role: This is a Permanent fulltime role, working Monday-Friday with some Saturdays if required, 80 hours of work fortnightly.
What we are looking for:We are after a motivated and capable operator who brings experience and a strong work ethic. Ideally, you will have:
- Hold a current NZ drivers’ licence, WTR endorsements (ideally Class 2 / 4, training can be provided to the right candidate)
- 3+ years’ experience operating a range of machines in civil construction from excavators, rollers, grader and small to medium trucks
- Proven experience in drainage excavation, particularly around services
- A Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
- Good care and respect for machinery
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in varying conditions
- The ability to work independently and within a team
- A positive can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
