-to-day team leadership, coaching, support and guidance to our health centre staff.You'll work closely with the Health Centre Manager and our team to oversee and ensure the smooth running of the hub, modelling culturally safe clinical practice and partnership that promotes Humanising and Healing, respecting the human dignity and inherent mana of those in our management.
Your ability to exercise professional judgment and assist the team with complex case resolution will be invaluable, and you'll be a first port of call to support and assist the wahine in our management with any concerns, or potential complaints, as they arise.
In addition to managing team rostering and clinical reporting, you'll also have regular opportunities to liaise and work with external providers on health-related referral requests and processing.Waikeria Prison is undergoing significant growth, with new, purpose‑built facilities supporting modern, safe, and high‑quality health care delivery.
This includes the recent opening of the Hikitia Mental Health and Addictions Service, alongside existing health services across the site.As a Registered clinician at Waikeria, you will work in a fast‑evolving environment where resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to professional practice are essential.
