Clinical Support Workers
In this role, you will:Work alongside the Tikanga team to support and enhance educational programmes.Ensure Tikanga principles are integrated into everyday practices across Counties Manukau.Foster a culturally safe and responsive workforce through education and engagement.This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, based at Middlemore Hospital.
You will report to the People and Professional Development Lead with a professional reporting line to the Tumu Tikanga, Chief Advisor Tikanga.About You:We are looking for someone who is:Experienced in Maaori paradigms, customs, and Tikanga.Comprehensive knowledge of Tainui TikangaFluent in Te Reo Maaori and able to confidently integrate Tikanga into daily practice.Skilled in group facilitation, presentations, and engaging diverse audiences.Highly competent in written, verbal, negotiation, and communication skills.The ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships and partnerships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
