About the Role
As a Prep Chef, you’ll be an essential part of our kitchen team, helping keep everything running smoothly and consistently. You’ll take pride in your prep, presentation, and timing — ensuring every plate looks and tastes great. You’ll also get the chance to jump on the line during service and contribute to the energy that makes The Loft tick.
Your day-to-day will include:
Preparing ingredients, sauces, and garnishes to a high standard.
Assisting with cooking and plating during busy services.
Maintaining consistency, presentation, and portion control across all dishes.
Following prep lists and recipes to keep service smooth and efficient.
Ensuring all areas are kept clean, stocked, and compliant with food safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in a kitchen environment (prep or line cooking experience ideal).
A positive attitude, strong communication, and team-first mindset.
Reliability, attention to detail, and pride in your work.
Flexibility to work across weekdays, weekends, and event days.
