What You’ll Do

As a Restaurant Manager, you’ll be primarily responsible for the success of your restaurant – from driving sales and profitability to delivering first-class guest service and operational excellence. You will also be hands-on, involved in customer service and food preparation to ensure every guest has a great Subway experience. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, mentoring, and motivating your team to deliver exceptional service
• Recruitment, induction, and training of employees
• Managing and creating staff schedules to ensure proper coverage
• Overseeing inventory management, stock control, and conducting weekly stock takes and reports
• Managing cash balances, restaurant budgets, and financial reporting
• Preparing required paperwork related to stock, sales, employee pay, and timesheets
• Setting competitive pricing to meet business goals
• Checking in deliveries, order matching, and daily banking procedures
• Maintaining store cleanliness and presentation, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests
• Implementing in-store marketing material and promotional campaigns to drive sales
• Advising guests on products and promoting Subway offerings to enhance customer satisfaction
• Ensuring 100% compliance with Subway and local council guidelines
• Promoting a high level of customer service and handling any escalated customer complaints
• Performing food preparation to Subway standards, ensuring quality and safety
• Ensuring a safe work environment by following safety protocols and providing training

Working as a Restaurant Manager in a Subway franchise is challenging but highly rewarding. You’ll have the opportunity to work with passionate teams while helping to shape the future of our restaurants.

• Starting Hourly rate: $29.70 - $33.00, depending on experience + quarterly bonus
• Minimum guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week

• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and inspire teams
• Experience with inventory management, cash handling, and budgeting
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service and resolve customer issues efficiently
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights and weekends
• A high level of organisational and time-management skills
