Temporary Ward Clerk - North Shore Hospitalat Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Waitematā -
As the front-line point of contact on the ward, you will assist with clerical, reception, and operational duties to ensure the ward runs smoothly. This role involves working with a diverse range of patients in a busy healthcare environment. As many patients may require additional support, you will play a key role in providing reassurance, guidance, and clear direction at reception.
Ward clerks are often the first point of contact and are responsible for redirecting patients as needed, as well as offering a welcoming, supportive experience. Strong communication skills, patience, and a compassionate approach are essential.
