Chef

Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 30 per week

We are seeking a skilled Chef specialising in an array of different cuisines, both Easter and Western, to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining food safety standards.

• Prepare fresh food ingredients and cook dishes with attention to colour, flavour, and presentation.
• Supervise food quality and ensure all kitchen staff fulfil their duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and ensure all appliances are in good working order.
• Monitor inventory of ingredients and place orders as needed.
• Check food freshness and dispose of expired items.
• Train new kitchen staff and guide them to meet required standards.
• Perform other duties as required by the department manager.
• Plan and design menus

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Chef or Cook in a commercial kitchen,
• Ability to plan and organise food preparation and cooking in a dining or catering establishment.
• Experience supervising kitchen staff and maintaining food safety standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
