Registered Nurse (Fulltime, Part-time or Casual)

We currently have 32-hours (night shift) available. Happy to consider permanent fulltime, part-time or casual role(s) for these.

Our unique Model of Care orients our service towards achieving a fulfilling and enriching life for our residents. This asks us to be creative and resourceful, and results in a programme of activities and events that are just as much fun for the caregivers as the residents they support.

We provide comprehensive hospital level care for people living with physical and neurological disability. Our 39-room facility delivers residential and respite care as well as transitional and outpatient rehabilitation services.

The ideal candidate for a role with us:

  • NZ practising Certificate ideally with a Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
  • Strong organisational and leaderships skills
  • Proven ability to effectively liaise with other health professionals and multi-disciplinary team
  • Great communication skills including the ability to work collaboratively within a team

St John of God Karori supports people living with disability to lead engaging and fulfilling lives. Our 36-bed residential care facility includes a Rehabilitation and Therapy Unit and on-site apartments. Our services employ over 350 people in Canterbury and Wellington.
