We are seeking anenthusiastic, positive team player with a good clinical experience.

Working aspart of a close-knit team, you will receive regular supervision andopportunities for professional development and you will also be encouraged todevelop your skills and professional interests.

This is a casual opportunity, hours of work are not guaranteed but you will need to have availability Monday

  • 1630 to meetservice delivery requirements.

In this role, youwill be responsible for:Providingnutritional assessment and nutritional care plans to medical inpatients withinthe adult team across the medical and surgical wards Providingnutritional education to patients within the service, enthusing and motivatingreal behaviour changeWorkingwithin a multi-disciplinary team and liaising with health providersAbout YouYour skills willinclude:A drive to ensure best health outcomes for people with nutrition related disordersThe ability to work within a team and contribute to the provision of quality care within the serviceBeingself-motivated, organised and enjoy a challengeStronginterpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and nurturerelationships with patients and other people within the serviceDemonstratedpost-qualification experience, ideally with 3+ years of experience within a hospitalsettingNew Zealand Registered Dietitian with a current NZ Practising Certificate is essentialCompetency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reoMāori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of yourlearning and growth Workingfor Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuringexcellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
