Job Opportunity: Office Administrator with minor sales role | Dental Aid (Auckland, NZ)

Dental Aid, a leading recruitment and temping agency serving dental clinics across Auckland, is on the lookout for a Office Administrator/Personal Assistant to the Director to support the day-to-day running of our business. This is a hands-on, varied role offering exposure to operations, admin, sales, and client relationship management.

  • The Role:

As the Office Administrator/Personal Assistant, you’ll play a key part in the smooth running of the business. You’ll work directly with the Director and support across a range of responsibilities including:

  1. Assisting in managing and coordinating staff and temp placements
  2. Creating and updating rosters to ensure efficient staffing
  3. Handling day-to-day administrative tasks and documentation
  4. Delivering exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates
  5. Supporting sales and marketing efforts, including:
Making cold calls to potential clients
Visiting dental clinics to build relationships and promote services
  1. Assist in payroll and accounting tasks
  • What We’re Looking For:
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Great communication and people skills
A proactive and professional approach
Confidence to engage in cold-calling and face-to-face sales
Solid administration experience (recruitment background a plus!)
Proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn new systems
A full driver’s licence and own vehicle (for occasional client visits)

  • Location:
Office is based in Totara Heights, Manukau. Work initially will be from the office but will progress into hybrid role with working from home potential.
Occasional travel to client sites (travel reimbursed), within Auckland.
  • Hours:
The role is casual, part-time.

Initially Wednesdays and Fridays 8am to 5pm, with occasional extra days.

This role will develop into a permanent full-time role
