Are you an experienced automotive or industrial spray painter looking for a stable, long-term opportunity in Palmerston North? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-owned manufacturer of high-quality agricultural equipment.
With one of their long-serving team members heading overseas, there's an immediate opening for the right person to join their tight-knit, hands-on crew.
About the role:
You'll be part of a small, experienced team responsible for prepping and spray painting large agricultural machinery and components. This is a hands-on, physical role ideal for someone who takes pride in producing clean, durable finishes and enjoys working in a practical, down-to-earth environment.

- Responsibilities:
- Prepping surfaces (sanding, priming, bolting components)
- Spray painting machinery and metal parts to a high standard
- Using hand tools to finish and detail components
- Sandblasting - experience a bonus, not essential
- Maintaining a tidy and safe workspace
- Proven experience in industrial or automotive spray painting
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in quality workmanship
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check
