Workshop Engineer

We are looking for a versatile Workshop Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels working on everything from light vehicles to heavy-duty roading machinery.
What you need:- One of the following Mechanical Trade Qualifications
- New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering (Level 4 or 5)
- New Zealand Certificate in Light Automotive Engineering (Level 4)
- National Certificate in Automotive Engineering
- Experience working on heavy and light vehicles, excavators, rollers and other mobile machinery.
- Experience fabricating components and welding of steel/aluminium.
- The ability to understand plans and diagrams.
- Full Class 1 Drivers Licence.
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage conflicting demands and deadlines.
- To be committed to health, safety and quality.
A general mechanical knowledge of large machinery used in road construction would be advantage.
