Examine foodstuffs to ensure quality, freshness, and compliance with standards.
Regulate and monitor the temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment.
Prepare, cook, and present food items according to established recipes and menus.
Season food appropriately during the cooking process to enhance flavor.
Portion and plate food attractively, adding gravies, sauces, and garnishes as required.
Store food in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities to maintain safety and quality.
Prepare meals to meet special dietary requirements where necessary.
Plan menus and estimate food and ingredient requirements as needed.
May train, guide, and support other kitchen staff and apprentices in food preparation and kitchen operations.
At least 1 or 2 year of experience must hold in kitchen working as a full time Cook.
