Full time - 32 hours per week
$25.00 – $28.00 per hour

This role includes covering our Night Auditor duties and also Night Porter shifts. You will be rostered on a 4 to 5 days per week schedule with a mixture of night auditor and night porter shifts depending on our business and team requirements.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Processing payments including room charges, debit and credit, cash and cheques in accordance with established procedures
- Checking guests in, out and managing any wake-up call requests
- Answering phones and dealing with overnight guest queries
- Running night audit property management systems or manual equivalents
- Processing IHG membership reward processes
- Reconciliation of daily data
- Clean and maintain hotel public areas
- Accounting and mathematics skills for accurate data entry and accounting processing
- Computer literate
- Strong verbal communication and good listening skills, for effective and pleasant interactions with guests and staff.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to handle cash, Merchants (CC) and perform basic financial reconciliations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to guest service.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Other responsibilities include hotel cleaning, delivery of room service orders and assisting where required.
- You will need a good level of strength and fitness to assist guests with their luggage.
