About the Team/Service/ LocationSituated on the eastern coast of New Zealand's North Island, Gisborne “Tairāwhiti” – “The light shines on the water” is the first city in the world to see the rising sun of the new day. About you· Previous experience working in Mental Health and Addictions settings (minimum 3 years)· Previous experience working with Infants, Children and Young people .

Proven experience in a leadership role. Reliability and good time management skills are essential· Applicants must have a full and current drivers licence.· Excellent communication skills. Recognises and contributes to addressing the social determinants of health · Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth· Experience in projects/initiatives, which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settingsWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
