Are you able to influence and facilitate change to embed the new direction for the delivery of mental health and addictions services in Tairāwhiti?The position is:§ Full-time, based within Te Ara Maioha, Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti (Gisborne Hospital)§ Ideal for an applicant with knowledge of mental health and addictions services § Provides opportunities for new learning in a dynamic and changing environment What you'll do:• Lead quality improvement activities to support the delivery of evidence based best practice in whānau centred care
- Initiate, lead and implement service development plans and projects in quality and clinical improvement• Work in partnership with Te Ara Maioha Leadership, Clinical Leadership and Quality teams, clinicians and kaimahi to embed our Tairāwhiti way of working.
- Develop, access and maintain systems that measure, monitor and address tangata whaiora satisfaction and feedback including Complaints, Critical Incident Management systems and Feedback Informed Treatment
- Take a lead role in ensuring Health and Disability Standards are met and upheld, through Policy frameworks , Audit, Accreditation and Compliance provisions
- Work to eliminate health outcomes inequity particularly for Māori, tangata whaiora and their whānauMoū
