Chef/Cook

IMMEDIATE START

We’re looking for Cook/Chef to adept in all areas of kitchen operations to assist in menu development, staff training, stock control and managing the kitchen. This role has the opportunity for further leadership development within the company.

• At least minimum 2 year’s experience working in Commercial kitchen.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance.
• Manage food ordering, stock control and inventory.
• Negotiate prices with vendors and maintain good relationship.
• Control food cost, food waste, portion size and yield, and manage food preparation and plating efficiently.
• Support and work effectively with the kitchen and front of house team during service.
• Experience in managing and training staff and be honest and punctual.
• Reliable, team player with the ability to work under pressure and as per business ADHOC requirement.
• Should be flexible with the split shifts and available all weekends and public holidays.
