- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
- Must be flexible to work on weekends/public holidays
Duties and Responsibilities include: -
- Preparation of Tandoori and Indian dishes and curries
- Maintain cleaning checklists and high levels of cleanliness at all times
- Discussing food preparation issues with the manager
- Ensuring kitchen equipments in proper working condition
- Keep the kitchen clean and tidy
- Train other kitchen staff whenever required
- Conduct regular stock checks/stock-takes
- Ensuring the quality of food before it leaves the kitchen
- Such other duties assigned from time to time
