Requirements: -

  • Must have a relevant qualification or a minimum 2 years of experience preparing Tandoori and North Indian dishes
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment
  • Must be flexible to work on weekends/public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities include: -

  • Preparation of Tandoori and Indian dishes and curries
  • Maintain cleaning checklists and high levels of cleanliness at all times
  • Discussing food preparation issues with the manager
  • Ensuring kitchen equipments in proper working condition
  • Keep the kitchen clean and tidy
  • Train other kitchen staff whenever required
  • Conduct regular stock checks/stock-takes
  • Ensuring the quality of food before it leaves the kitchen
  • Such other duties assigned from time to time
