Seasonal Machine Operator

Tulloch Contracting is on the hunt for outstanding machine operators to join our team for the September/October 2025 - April 2026 season in the Wairarapa.
As a business we offer a full range of agricultural cultivation services, maize and grass silage harvesting, bailing and carting of stock feeds and rural supplies which you will be involved in throughout the season. Our ideal candidate is driven, motivated, a team player, and is a confident and competent machine operator on and off the road with the following skills and experience:
- Minimum full class 1 driver’s license
- Minimum 2 year's experience in this industry
- Wheels, tracks, and rollers endorsement would be an advantage
- Ability and foresight to handle unexpected situations
- Great work ethic
- Able to handle heavy equipment
- Ability to form positive working relationships
- A team player but happy to work on your own
- Flexible and committed to working extended hours in busy seasons
- Excellent communication skills and great attitude
- Experience in operation of John Deere greenstar
- Be able to follow and abide by company Health & Safety policies
- Minimum pay $30 per hr, maximum $35 per hr
- Minimum guaranteed hours are 35 per week (Monday to Sunday)
