Position Details:- Hours: 44 hours per week* (weekend and away work available)
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Competitive hourly rate + 3% KiwiSaver
- Tools, uniform, PPE, and work boot allowance provided

- May be higher when completing work away.
Your tasks will be varied and may include:
- General labouring and site preparation
- Supporting hard landscaping tasks such as retaining, decking, paving, concrete work, fencing, and site set-outs
- Large-scale planting projects and softscape installations
- Assisting with irrigation, turf prep, and garden builds
- Helping maintain safe, tidy, well-organised work sites
- Following instructions from senior staff and contributing positively to the team
Travel for Projects: Be available to work on out-of-town projects as required. Some upcoming jobs will involve being away for up to two weeks at a time. All accommodation, travel, and food costs are covered by Aspen.
The Ideal Candidate:We’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn. This role is a great opportunity for someone ready to step up, acting as a bridge between an assistant and a team lead. You’ll have the chance to take on more responsibility over time, including running smaller projects independently.
You will ideally have:- A good level of fitness and a strong can-do attitude
- A full, clean driver's licence (ability to drive a manual is preferred)
- Experience using power tools and working in the landscaping/building industry
- Good communication skills - punctual, polite, and customer-focused
- Pride in your work and the ability to represent the Aspen brand professionally
- A tidy, organised, and proactive working style
- The ability to listen, learn quickly, and take instructions well
