From leading by example as the conduit for team across all customer touch points– you will be passionate in not only encouraging others to come on the journey, but being able to deliver training, attraction, and retention schemes across the branch – develop leading customer service delivery from the first interaction to machine delivery, full circle to aftermarket and service across your division – to helping coach and encourage the team in business development through your service while out onsite, across both existing and new clients .
This role will also interface with all other departments within the framework and requires a relatable leader with business acumen, proven ability to deliver across many pertinent avenues at any one time, and an ability to relate to the team and customers from all walks of life in a way that aligns to the company values.With a proven passion for customer service and ensuring that as a team - from the top down - number one focus is to do the job right, first time for the benefit of their clients and their team NZ wide.
You will have:- Proven tenure in the NZ heavy diesel market as a service or workshop manager with strong experience leading, encouraging and growing teams of 10+
- Experience in a civil construction or mining environment as a technician would be advantageous, with an understanding of the relationship between operations, parts and service and the how to get the best out of these interactions to benefit all parties.
- Ability to communicate both up and down and a relatable and approachable manner / open door policy as your leadership style.
- Strong computer acumen with an ability to create and interpret service/ warranty documentation and create regular reporting documentation for your branch.
- Well networked proven relationship base across the Auckland market with a solid understanding of the civil construction sector would be highly advantageous.
- Ability to be based out of the Auckland Location – relocation is on offer for the right candidate
