Ute Deck Builder

We are seeking a competent and reliable Ute Deck Builder to fabricate, assemble, and install custom ute decks. This role involves working with steel, and timber to build durable, high-quality decks to customer and company specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate and assemble custom ute decks, flat decks, tipper bodies, and accessories
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and job specifications
- Cut, weld, drill, and assemble steel and components
- Install decks onto chassis safely and accurately
- Fit accessories such as headboards, toolboxes, tie rails, and mudguards
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Use workshop tools and machinery safely and correctly
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Troubleshoot and rectify build or fitment issues
- Work efficiently to meet job deadlines
- Competent in MIG welding
- Strong measuring, cutting, and fabrication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and workmanship pride
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Full driver’s licence
- Competitive pay based on experience

- 10 hours a day Mon-Thurs
- Fridays off
