We’re looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead it.

Not someone to “run shifts.”

Someone to build culture, own the floor, and make this place hum from day one.

Pasta Pasta is a fast-casual restaurant opening in Christchurch with simple goals:

Be the best pasta in Christchurch.
Be the easiest place to bring a group.

Be the default lunch and birthday dinner spot.

We’re designed for volume, energy, and consistency.

Now we need the right person to lead it.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading daily service operations
  • Building and managing a high-performing FOH team
  • Driving service standards and floor energy
  • Managing labour and hitting wage targets
  • Overseeing rosters and team performance
  • Training, onboarding, and coaching staff
  • Working closely with the kitchen leadership team
  • Ensuring fast, smooth, confident service
  • Owning the guest experience from door to departure
This is a hands-on leadership role.

You’ll be on the floor. Visible. In control.

Who We’re Looking For

You are:

  • An experienced Restaurant Manager or strong Assistant ready to step up
  • Confident leading large-volume service
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environments
  • Calm under pressure
  • Obsessed with systems and flow
  • Great at hiring and building culture
  • Direct, clear, and fair as a leader

You understand that: Energy is controlled from the floor.

Standards are set by behaviour.

Culture is intentional.

What Success Looks Like

Within 3 months:

Service runs tight, fast, and confident

Staff know their roles and execute them

Large group bookings flow smoothly

Wage targets are met

Guest feedback is strong and consistent

The team respects you

Within 12 months:

Pasta Pasta is known as one of the best fast-casual restaurants in Christchurch

You’ve built a stable leadership team

The venue runs predictably and profitably
